Synopsis: After many A-list Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, and Ranbir Kapoor etc, it’s time for Ajay Devgn to rope in character of a sardar one more time in upcoming Hindi romantic comedy action film, ‘Son of Sardar‘, also known as SOS with its abbreviated form. Although we have seen Ajay Devgn’s sardar avatar in 2002 patriotic film ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ in which he superbly played title role of Indian national hero and martyr Bhagat Singh , but this time in Son Of Sardar, his character is completely different. He looks funny as well as confident and aggressive in released promos of SOS.
Well, Son of Sardar, starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Juhi Chawla in lead roles, is a remake of 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. Ashwni Dhir is the director, and Ajay Devgn, N.R.Pachisia and Pravin Talreja are the producers of big budget film SOS. The title Son Of Sardar earlier belonged to Akshay Kumar whom we have already seen in turban avatar. But when Akshay was approached by Ajay Devgn for the title, he happily gave it him. Main attraction will be special guest appearance of Superstar Salman Khan in Son Of Sardar and he is going to perform on an item song.
